Gary Joe Laster

Mr. Gary Joe Laster, age 64 of Elkton, passed away 10:05 PM Friday, March 15, 2019 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes. Services for Gary Joe will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2019 graveside at Cox Cemetery with Mr. Phillip Richardson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday at Latham Funeral Home.
Gary Joe was born September 3, 1954 in Gibson City, IL the son of Betty Jean McCraw Laster and the late John William Laster. He was superintendent of Intell at Fort Campbell for 35 years. He was a Jehovah Witness and a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Laster of Elkton; his son, Matt Laster and his wife Bianca of Elkton; his daughter, Barbara Joe McKenderee and her husband Tim of Benton, KY; his sister, Deborah Allen of Elkton; his grandchildren, Jay, Ashley, Kinsley Joe, Connor and Aubri; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Ellie Mae.
