Emily Joan Wilson

Mrs. Emily Joan Wilson, age 58 of Elkton, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Services for Mrs. Emily will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, KY with Rev. Mike Cummings officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Emily will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Elkton Baptist Church. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Emily was born August 17, 1963 in Russellville, KY. She was an Internal Auditor for Elkton Bank and Trust. She was a member of Elkton Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher and member of the WMU. She was a graduate from Todd County Central High School and also Austin Peay State University. She loved cooking and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her father, Byron Reid Orr Senior.
Survivors include her mother Linda Orr of Elkton; her husband of 31 Years, Gary Wayne Wilson of Elkton; her daughters, Rachael N. Taylor and her husband Grant of Tullahoma, TN and Catherine A. Poole and her husband Thomas of Auburn, KY; her brothers, Byron Orr and his wife Angela, George Orr and his wife Dana, Chris Orr and his wife Contessa and Steven Orr all of Elkton; her sisters, Amy Riley and her husband, Charlie of Elkton and Penny Withers and her husband Bryan of Clifty.
