Earl D. Kirkman

Mr. Earl Kirkman, age 89 of Allegre, KY passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 4:42 p.m. at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday May 12, 2021 12:00 noon at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkman Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 12 noon at the church. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Earl was born in Todd County July 1, 1931. He was a tobacco farmer for 80 years and a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. His world was his family and his community. He is preceded in death by his parents Walton Robert Kirkman and Ola Ann Mitchell Kirkman, his brothers Robert and Ray Kirkman, his sisters Daisy Canon, Christine Harrison and Lorene Poyner.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Mary Bryant Kirkman of Allegre, KY, his sons Paul Kirkman and his wife Carol of Elkton, and Jeff Kirkman and his wife Joyce of Allegre, his step daughter Rita Collins and her husband George of St.Petersburg, FL, his grandchildren Pam Conyea, Randal Kirkman, Brad Kirkman and Jonathan Kirkman and his wife Tabitha, his great grandchildren Sydney Conyea, Andrienne Conyea, Avery Kirkman and Luke Kirkman.
