Douglas W. "Doug" Turner

Douglas W. “Doug” Turner, age 67 of Trenton, passed away 8:15 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his residence of natural causes. Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Childress officiating. Burial will follow in the Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, KY. Visitation will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Latham Funeral Home until time for the service.
Doug was born June 10, 1952 in Somerset, KY the son of the late Jesse Estil Turner and Mildred Bell Turner. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Trenton. Doug loved to build and refinish furniture. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He had a great love for his family and treated his nieces and nephews as his grandchildren. He came from humble means but had a charitable disposition.
Survivors include his brother, Clay Turner of Clarksville, TN; his sisters, Reta Templeman and her husband Phil of Elkton, Kathy Blondin and her husband John of Trenton, and Lisa Turner of Trenton; several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
