Rev. Dilmon Tucker, age 88 of the Tuckertown Community in Todd County, passed away 10:13 AM Friday, April 14, 2017 at his residence of natural causes. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Cabin Liben Family Cemetery on Harry Tucker Road in the Tuckertown Community. Latham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Rev. Dilmon was born September 19, 1928 in Allegre, KY the son of the late Harry Coleman Tucker and Ibyle Henderson Tucker. He was a retired farmer and pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY. He was also a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nora Tucker of the Tuckertown Community; his sons, Wayne Tucker and his wife, Rebecca, Roger Tucker and his wife, Margaret and Barry Tucker and his wife Rhonda all of Kirkmansville, KY; his daughter, Joan Kinser and her husband, Donnie of the Tuckertown Community; his brother, Benjamin Franklin Tucker of the Tuckertown Community; his sisters, Susan Morgan of Auburn and Mary Weatherford of the Tuckertown Community; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
