Derrick Wayne Brumfield age 31 of Elkton, KY passed away Saturday June 3, 2017 from injuries he suffered in a vehicle accident in Trigg County, KY. Services will be Thursday June 8, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Jeremy Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Britmart Baptist Church Cemetery in Britmart, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday June 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Derrick was born in Hopkinsville, KY May 22, 1986 the son of Jimmy Lynn Brumfield and Jean Oyler Brumfield. He was a construction worker and a graduate of Bowling Green Vocational Technical College, he was a member of Britmart Baptist Church.
Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Lindsey Brumfield of Guthrie, KY, his Paternal Grandmother Pauline Brumfield of Elkton, KY his step son Gage Sanders of Guthrie, KY, his brother Kevin Brumfield of Hopkinsville, KY, his half sisters Isabella Queens and Riley Queens both of Hopkinsville, KY.
