Mrs. Deloris “Lois” Ann Bell Flowers age 57 of Guthrie, KY passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 9:30 A.M. at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Saturday March 31, 2018 1:00 p.m. at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, KY. Burial will follow in the Todd County Meadow Haven in Todd County. Visitation will be Friday March 30, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Elkton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Flowers was born in Russellville, KY September 9, 1960 the daughter of Calvin Bell and the late Claudia Sebree Bell. Mrs. Flowers was a 1979 graduate of Todd County Central High School. She was employed as a custodian of the Todd County Justice Center. Lois had previously been employed as a Supervisor at Flynn Enterprise in Elkton and a Team Leader at TGask in Hopkinsville, KY. She was a very active member of Mt. Zion CME Church in Todd County where she was President of the Senior and Junior Choir, Stewardess Board, Usher Board, Kitchen Committee, and the President of the Outreach Ministry. She and her family were always set up at Bike Night and all other activities in Elkton and Todd County serving their bar-b-que. She is preceded in death by her mother Claudia Sebree Bell and her sister Annette Wickware.
Besides her father she is survived by her husband Herman JR Flowers of Guthrie, KY, her son Cedric Russell of Guthrie, KY, her daughter Rosa Bell of Charlotte, NC, her sister Helaine Head of Guthrie, KY, and her granddaughter, Shanai Collins of Charlotte, NC.
