Ivydean Sherrod

Mrs. Clarice Ivydean Sherrod, age 86 of Elkton, passed away 3:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Christian Heights Nursing and Rehab in Pembroke. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. The service will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ivydean was born June 20, 1937 in Todd County, KY. She was retired from Western State Hospital where she worked as a nurse. She was a member of Allegre Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Sherrod, her sons, Jimmy Sherrod, Mickey Sherrod and Charles Randal Sherrod.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Moore of Elkton, her daughter-in-law, Diane Sherrod of Elkton, and 3 grandchildren, Cristy, Beth and Jamie Sherrod all of Elkton.
