Rev. Charles Willie Williams, age 83 of the Pea Ridge Community, passed away 12:55 PM, Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Creekwood Place in Russellville of natural cause. Services will be Sunday May 24, 2020 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Gene Etheridge and Rev. Eddie Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in the Pea Ridge Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Saturday May 23, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Williams was born in Todd County September 19, 1936. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Big Red One in Fort Riley, KS. He had preached the gospel for 61 years. This ministry included Pastorial Abundant Life Church in Detroit, MI, World Wide Evangelist in Brazil, Canada and the Phillipines. He was former Vice President of Anchor Bay Fellowship, Founder of Gospel of Deliverance Ministry and Fellowship. Rev. Williams was the former owner of Cathedral Tent Rental and Manufacturing, INC and a member of Pea Ridge Full Gospel Church. Rev. Williams had a tender heart for the Navajo Reservation and the Fillipino people where he ministered many times. Bro. Charles was a mentor to many young evangelists and pastors throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Williams and Edna Williams Jones, his brothers Kenneth Williams and Alton Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Marlene Williams of Elkton, KY, 1 son Steve and his wife Margaret Williams of Apache Junction, AZ, his bonus son Bobby and his wife Charity Collins of Opelika, AL, 2 daughters Debbi Murray and her husband Gene of Evansville, IN, and Tammy Jalipour and her husband Mehran, of Evansville, IN and bonus daughter Robin Boswell of Sesser, IL, his brother Ray Williams of Elkton, KY, his sisters Shirley Gilvin and her husband Bill of Indianapolis, IN, Linda Fowler and her husband Rev. Eddie of Elkton, KY and Wanda Wood and her husband Doug of Elkton, KY, 4 Grandchildren 11 Bonus Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 5 Bonus Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
