Charles L. Hyams

Mr. Charles L. Hyams, age 88 of Todd Co., passed away 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 04, 2023 at his residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton with Rev. Steve and Teresa Shauf officiating. Burial with military honors will follow. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Charles was born July 28, 1935 in Trenton, KY. He was a self-employed painter for over 30 years and a member of the Church of God Religion where he served as Sunday school teacher. Mr. Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Laura Johnson Hyams, his son, Paul Hyams, his brother, Billy Hyams and his sister, Ann Gammon.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicki Lofton, his sisters, Martha Gleerup of Springfield, TN, Mary Jandrokovic of New York and Barbara Gammon of Nashville, TN and also several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
