Mr. Charley Conley, age 68 of Elkton, passed away 7:12 AM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his residence of natural causes. Services for Mr. Charley are 7:30 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until time for the service Saturday.
Mr. Charley was born December 7, 1952 in Broken Arrow, OK the son of the late Earl and Hazel Baker Conley. He was a Nurse’s Aide for Easter State Hospital in Vinita, OK, Musician, Song Writer, Businessman and Evangelist. He attended Nashville Cowboy Church and hosted the Morning Glory Radio Show in Nashville and also in Elkton. Mr. Charley graduated Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, OK with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry, Rogers State University, Hank Cochran School of Music with an Associate Degree in Music, N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK with a Nursing Degree and North Eastern State University in Tehlequah, OK with a Associates Degree in Business. Besides his parents his was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Conley; his sisters, Melba Conley and Anna Conley Blair.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy E. S. “Nan” Calloway of Elkton, his sons, Duane Conley of Omaha, Nebraska, Rocky Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska and Zack Pippin of Hendersonville, TN; his daughters, Bridget Taeoalii of Tulsa, OK, Micki Liggett of Columbus, Nebraska, Ginger White Dress of Omaha, Nebraska and LeeAnn Pippin of Hendersonville, TN; 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
