Mr. Carl Thomas Templeman age 88 of Elkton passed away Thursday July 5, 2018 5:30 a.m. at his residence of natural causes. Services will be Sunday July 8, 2018 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Todd County with Rev. Todd Smith, Gary Michael Templeman and Rev. Robbie Weathers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday July 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY and on Sunday July 8, 2018 at the church from 12 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Templeman was born in Todd County, KY November 7, 1929, he was a farmer, co-owner and founder of Templeman Farms in Todd County. He had served as President and Treasurer of Todd County Farm Bureau, Todd County Magistrate for 17 years and Treasurer of Pleasant Hill Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Templeman and Iva Mae Phillips Templeman, his sister Orene Turner and his infant granddaughter Sherri Lynn McCormick.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Cynthia Rust Templeman of Elkton, his daughter Delinda Templeman McCormick and her husband Joe of Cadiz, KY, his sons Phil and his wife Reta Templeman, Daryl and his wife Susie Templeman, Gary and his wife Vivian Templeman all of Elkton, KY and Randall and his wife Pamela Templeman of Berea, KY, his sisters Marcia Dean Harris of Robertson County, TN, and Sue Vass of Fairview, KY, his grandchildren Tamara McCormick, Tiffany McCormick Webster, Kasey Templeman Wilson, Ashley Templeman Dossett, Jill Templeman Harton, Hannah Templeman Jolly, Gary Michael Templeman and Amber Templeman McCuiston, also surviving are 14 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery in care of Gary Templeman 181 Hurt Road Elkton, KY 42220 or charity of you choice.
