Billy Hoyt Gamble

Mr. Billy Hoyt Gamble, age 83 of Elkton KY passed away 6:12 PM Friday, August 30, 2019 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehab in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Monday September 2, 2019 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Gary Dawson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday September 1, 2019 at Latham Funeral Home and on Monday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Mr. Gamble was born in Graves County, KY June 28, 1936. He was retired from Rockwell MFG in Russellville, KY and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Todd County. He is preceded in death by his parents Mont Gamble and Alice Shultz Gamble, his step son Steven Kent Gorrell in 1960, his sisters Dean Greene and Margie Stroud, his brother Bobby Lynn Gamble.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Marilyn Stratton Gamble of Elkton, KY his daughters Ann Gorrell Ingram and her husband Larry of Springfield, TN, and Tracey Lynn Gamble Rager of Cadiz, KY, his sisters Diane Causey and Betty West both of Jackson, TN, 5 Grandchildren Jason Campbell, Elizabeth Dedman, Matt Campbell, John Rager and Jacob Rager, 2 Great Grandchldren Taylor Campbell and Eli Dedman.
