Ben Harrell Arvin

Mr. Ben Harrell Arvin age 71 of Louisville, KY and formerly of Elkton passed away Monday April 20, 2020 9:39 a.m. in the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY of natural causes. Private services will be held for Ben with Rev. Phillip Suber officiating a Celebration of Life Service will be at a later date. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Arvin was born in Elkton January 10, 1949. He was retired from General Electric in Louisville after 35 years, a graduate of Todd Training and served in the National Guard where he was a military policeman, he had also been a Chef, served as a policeman in Louisville, and was a member of St. Stephens Baptist Church in Louisville where he loved to sing. He is preceded in death by his father Saint Harrell Jr, his brother Danny Harrell and his sister Michelle Toliver.
He is survived by his Mother, Arie Bell Toliver Harrell of Elkton, his sons, Ben Taylor of Hopkinsville, KY, Benjamin Arvin of Louisville, KY, Travis Arvin Louisville, KY and Chris Arvin of Atlanta, GA, his daughters Ella Simmons of Hopkinsville, KY, Tiffany Arvin of Louisville, KY, his sisters, Sylvia Jean Hall, Priscilla Dickerson, Queenesther Osborne, Laurine Warfield and Marcie Collins all of Elkton, KY and Judy Givens of Louisville, KY, also there are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
