Barbara Lurline Keeling

Mrs. Barbara Lurline Keeling age 84 of Elkton, KY passed away Thursday April 14, 2022 9:55 a.m. at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Services will be Saturday April 16, 2022 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Terry Joiner and Rev. Eddie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Saturday April 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Keeling was born at Allegre, KY October 15, 1937. She was a teacher’s aide in the Christian County School System and a farmer’s wife. A very active member of Allegre Missionary Baptist Church, she loved sewing and gardening. She is preceded in death by her husband James Sylvester “Buster” Keeling in 2013, her parents James Franklin “Jake” Deason and Ollie Jones Deason.
She is survived by her son Ronnie Keeling and his wife Judy of Elkton, and her daughter Sherry Finley and her husband Greg of Elkton, her 6 grandchildren Alex Keeling, Matthew Finley, Elizabeth Finley, Chris Francis, Jeremy Francis and Joseph Francis her 11 great grandchildren Riley Lewis, Scarlett Cook, Colsyn Cook, Gibson Luna, Emma Finley, Lane Finley, Meagan Francis, Logan Francis, Colton Francis, Clark Francis and Hunter Francis.
