Mrs. Barbara Wilkins Denny, age 73 of Elkton, passed away 6:04 AM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Tristar Northcrest Hospital in Springfield, TN. Services for Mrs. Denny will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Denny was born January 1, 1949 in Todd County, KY. She was a retired teacher with the Todd County School Board having taught at Allegre School, Elkton Elementary, and North Todd Elementary. She was a member of New Cedar Grove Baptist Church, loved reading, listening to country and gospel Music. She had a great passion for the education of children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Alzada Rager Wilkins, her brothers, Terry Rager and Kent Wilkins.
Survivors include her sister, Bonnie Gibson and her husband, Bob of Elkton; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
