Barbara Dean Chowning

Mrs. Barbara Dean Chowning age 71 of Elkton, KY passed away Monday November 12, 2018 2:25 a.m. at her residence of natural causes. Service will be Wednesday November 14, 2018 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Sherry Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabernacle Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Wednesday November 14, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Chowning was born December 12, 1946 in White House, TN. She had been employed at Elkton Die Casting, ARDCO and retired from Groupo in Hopinsville, KY. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church in Todd County. Mrs. Chowning is preceded in death by her parents Gerald Dean Hulsey and Dorothy Mai Cole Hulsey, her stepsons Tony and Steve Chowning, her sisters Brenda Binkley and Mary Lynn Henley.
She is survived by her husband Jimmy Chowning of Elkton, KY, her daughters Angela (Bryon) Orr of Elkton, KY, Karen Fletcher of Elkton, KY, her step sons Ronnie Chowning and Kevin Chowning both of Greenbrier, TN, her step daughter Connie Chowning of Hendersonville, TN, her sister Kathy Birdwell of Greenbrier, TN and 11 Grandchildren.
