Mr. Darrin Case age 52 of Dahlonega, GA and formerly of Todd County passed away Tuesday April 10, 2018 8:00 p.m. at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainsville, GA after a short illness. Services will be Saturday April 14, 2018 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Buddy Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Friday April 13, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY.
Darrin was born in Hopkinsville, KY on November 30, 1965 . He was an engineer for Morris South Engineering Solutions. A 1983 graduate of Todd County Central High School and Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN, he attended Free Chapel in Gainsville, GA. He is preceded in death by his parents Arvil Louie Case and Mary Elizabeth “Bess” Case.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Dianne Tucker Case of Dahlonega, GA, his son Derrick Case and his wife Danielle of Gainesville, GA, his daughter Christy Shumate Phillips and her husband Jerry of Jefferson, GA, his brothers Todd Case of Dahlonega, GA and Scott Case of Cumming, GA, his Mother In Law Ruth Hurt of Elkton, KY, his grandchildren Hudson and Houston Case.
