Arnett Lee Driskill

Arnett Lee Driskill, age 96 of Elkton, passed away 5:10 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Creekwood Place in Russellville, KY of natural causes.  Services for Arnett will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Wilhite and Mr. Johnny Martin officiating.  The service will be live-streamed from our website lathamfuneralhome.com.  Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:30 AM Saturday until time for the service at Latham Funeral Home.

Arnett was born October 29, 1924 in Todd County the son of the late Chester Lee and Bertha Hall Driskill.  He was a farmer and loved to raise sheep, horses and chickens.  He sold eggs to many people and businesses in the community.  He retired from Kentucky-Tennessee Livestock Market in Guthrie after 33 years of service.  Arnett was a member of New Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nelltene Driskill.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Groves of Elkton; his grandchildren, Melissa Morris of Elkton, Kristie (Jay Coots) Groves of Elkton and Karla (Ted) Cohea of Barren Plains, TN; his great grandchidren, Brittany (Jeremy) Morris, Brooke (Jamie) Morris, Danni Beth Groves, John Mitchell Cohea and Travis Reclusado; his great great grandchildren, Jordan Morris, Raigan Morris and Evie Fry; also his special friend, Paul Harris and his faithful dog, Levi.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to Cedar Grove Cemetery, C/O William D. Carver, 56 Georgetown Circle, Elkton, KY 42220.
