Anne was born in Elkton, KY to Doc and Mary Glenn Hall Camp in her grandparents’ home. She grew up surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins, and they were a strong influence in her life, even when she traveled overseas as an Army wife.
When she wasn’t sewing or trying out the latest craft (tole painting, basket weaving, etc.), she worked at King’s Daughters Memorial Hospital. She was known as the office joke-teller, and her laughter could often be heard in the halls. Anne played host to a group of teenagers when her daughter was in high school, and enjoyed the gatherings as much as they did.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her daughter’s father, Tom P. George; two brothers, Bobby Hall Camp and Garth Camp Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Patti George, Frankfort. two sisters-in-law, Nancy Thomas Camp, Elkton; Lou Camp, Trenton; a niece, Cindy Camp Sidebottom, Elkton, a nephew, Will Camp, Trenton, a great-niece, Grace Sidebottom, Elkton; dozens of cousins and many friends.
