Angie Helen Powell

Mrs. Angie Helen Powell, age 77 of Elkton, passed away 2:50 AM, Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. Services will be 11:00; a.m. Wednesday May 27, 2020 at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Tuesday May 26, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Mrs. Powell was born February 11, 1943 in Todd County. She was retired from Flynn Enterprises with 23 years of service as Supervisor. She was a member of Elkton Baptist Church and a loving grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Douglas Allen Powell of Elkton, KY, her son David Powell and his wife Sue of Elkton, her brother Elmer McGhee of Millwood,KY and her sister Melda Dunn of Elkton, her grandchildren Melanie Chestnut and her husband Dustin of Auburn, KY, Taylor Powell of Hopkinsville, KY her great grandchildren McKenna and Kopelyn Chestnut.
