Alma Nell Blake Winsett

Alma Nell Blake Winsett, 89, of South Daytona, FL, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2020.  Alma was born on August 24, 1930 to James Calvin Blake and Zula Drake Blake in Clifty, KY.  She was a Local Union Chapter Leader with the shoe manufacturer where she worked.  Alma married her beloved husband, Alpha Derald Winsett, in 1949.  Alma joins Alpha in Heaven, along with her son, Darrell Wayne Winsett, parents, and siblings.  Those left to mourn her passing are her granddaughters, Lisa Murray of Dumfries, VA and Erica Riggleman of Garner, NC; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Lopez of Williamsburg, VA, Miguel Lopez of Williamsburg, VA, Angelina Murray of Dumfries, VA, and Justin Murray of Dumfries, VA; her loving sister, Elnora Proctor; and a host of other family and friends.  Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY where she will be laid to rest. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM Sunday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Alma’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
