Mr. Aden N. Coblentz, age 68 of Guthrie, passed away 8:00 PM, Monday, October 8, 2018 from injuries sustained in a tractor accident on his way home from work. Services for Mr. Coblentz will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the South District Amish Church, 4050 Penchem Rd., Guthrie, KY 42234 with Bishop Marvin Kanagy officiating. Burial will follow in the South District Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the South District Amish Church both nights. Latham Funeral Home in Elkton is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Coblentz was born November 12, 1949 in Holmesville, Ohio the son of the late Noah H. and Katie Ann Stutzman Coblentz. He was a farmer and member of the South District Amish Church. He was also preceded by his brothers, Jacob Coblentz, Perry Coblentz and Raymond Coblentz.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Rhoda Yoder Coblentz of Guthrie; his sons, Philip Coblentz and his wife Carolyn of Ava, IL, Robert Coblentz and his wife Cindy of Jamestown, PA and Jonathan Coblentz and his wife Sharon of Guthrie; his daughters, Viola Schwartz and her husband Solly of Lamar, Missouri and Anna Mast and her husband Dennis of Jamestown, PA; his brothers, Lester Coblentz of Millsburg, Ohio and Daniel Coblentz of Harrodsburg, KY; his sisters, Anna Myers of Paraguay, S. America, Mary Stoll of Odon, IN, Erma Byler and Ada Byler both of Auburn, KY; and 30 grandchildren.
