Mr. Robert Eugene “Bob/Gene” Williams age 82 of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Todd County passed away Thursday June 8, 2017 2:15 p.m. at his residence of natural causes.  Services will be Monday June 12, 2017 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church Kirkmansville, KY with Rev. Bobby Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Willis Family Cemetery 15990 Greenville Road Hopkinsville, KY.  Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church.  Latham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Williams was born in Todd County the son of the late Robert Franklin Williams and Laura Adcock Williams.  He was a farmer and truck driver and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  Mr. Williams was a member of Joines Chapel General Baptist Church.  Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Louise Rose, three brothers Jessie, Larry and Dale Williams.

   He is survived by his wife of 54 years Faye Williams of Bowling Green, KY, his son James Robert Williams of Bowling Green, KY, his brothers Jim Taylor Williams, Nick Williams, Marvin Williams and Carl Williams all of Clifty, KY, his sisters Barbara June McIntyre of Allegre, KY, Mary Parkerson, Kathy Walker and Jackie Hildabrand all of Elkton, KY.
