Marston Elwood Powell

Mr. Marston Elwood Powell, age 89 of Elkton, KY passed away 10:58 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Hearthstone Place in Elkton. Services will be Sunday April 28, 2024 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Freddy Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be Saturday April 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday April 28, 2024 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton. Mr. Powell was born in Todd County March 11, 1935. He was retired from Trane Inc. in Clarksville, TN after 35 years. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Song Leader and Treasurer. He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Cotton Powell and Lola Mae Long Powell and his sister Sue Lett .
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Carolyn Powell of Elkton, KY, his son Keith Powell of Pembroke, KY and his daughter Sherry Berry of Elkton, KY his sister Linda Lett of Maplewood, OH. Grandson Shane Berry and great grandson Ashton Berry.
