Mrs. Margaret C. Hightower age 80 of the Stokes Chapel Community passed away Sunday July 9, 2017 3:41 p.m. at her residence of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Steve Reed and Rev. Jerry West officiating. Burial will follow in the Stokes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday July 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Mrs. Hightower was born in Todd County August 7, 1936 the daughter of the late Cliff Cumbee and Mary Lee Hightower Cumbee. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Her husband Lawrence Hightower of 54 years preceded her in death in 2007. Also, her son Larry Hightower passed away in 2010. Her brother Ford Morris preceded her in death. Also her son in law Keith Seay passed away June 2017.
She is survived by her daughters Sandra Sanford and her husband James of Russellville, KY, Lisa Spurlin of Elkton, and Sherry Seay of Elkton. 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchild
