Mrs. Lurline Kannier age 87 of Russellville, KY formerly of Elkton passed away 9:15 p.m. Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville, KY of natural causes. Services will be Saturday February 11, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Calvin Bond officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday February 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Kannier was born August 15, 1929 in Todd County the daughter of the late Noble and Bertie Hall. She had been an employee of Elkton Apparel and Flynn Enterprises as well as a homemaker. She was a member of New Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Her husband Chester Kannier passed away in 1999. She was also preceded by her brother Donald Hall.
She is survived by her daughters Patricia Gayle (Tony) Borders of Sharon Grove, KY and Jo Ann Hightower of Russellville, KY, her grandchildren Jennifer Lynn Borders-DeLeon, and Brian Lee Borders her Great grandchildren Abbygail Lynn DeLeon and Brooklyn Marie Borders, her Great Great Grandchild Adalia Lynn Bishop.
