Mrs. Katherine Murrey Perdue age 93 of Trenton, KY passed away Saturday December 9, 2017 5:10 a.m. at St Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Services will be Tuesday December 12, 2017 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Larry King officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton, KY. Visitation will be Monday December 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Mrs. Perdue was born in Todd County, KY May 3, 1924 the daughter of the late Henry Clifton Murrey and Emma Lucylle Luck Murrey. She was retired from Food Giant Grocery after 63 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Bells Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Katherine love to play Canasta and was a member of the After 6 Canasta Club. Her husband Mills Franklin Perdue died in 1990, she is also preceded in death besides her parents by her son Cliff Perdue, brother Bub Murrey and her sister Peggy Jenkins.
She is survived by her daughter Lucy and her husband Andy Anderson of Trenton, KY, her sons Frankie and his wife Sharon Perdue of Mt. Juliet, TN, David and his wife Melinda Perdue of Trenton, KY, Bobby and his wife Kim Perdue of Trenton, KY and her brother Jimmy Murrey of Orlando, FL, 18 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
