Mr. Joe C. Williams age 89 of the Pea Ridge Community passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 12:35 a.m. at his residence of natural causes. Services will be Wednesday March 22, 2017 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Dr.Rev. Terry J. Williams Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 21, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton.
Mr. Williams was born in Todd County April 18, 1927 the son of the late Marshall Williams and Gillie Dukes Williams. He was a carpenter and businessman. Mr. Williams was a World War 2 U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Full Gospel Mission. His wife Charlotte Eilean Williams passed away in 1998. His son Mike Williams passed away in 2008.
He is survived by his sons David Allen Williams of Elkton, KY, Glenn Lee (Helaine) Williams of Evansville,IN and Terry Joe (Norma) Williams of Elkton, KY, his daughters Karla Jean Jones of Evansville, IN and Lana Faye (Jim) Bennett of Bodega Bay, CA, his sister Eva Harrison of Elkton, KY, 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
