Mr. Edwin Dixon age 97 of Elkton, KY passed away Monday April 3, 2017 4:10 a.m. at Hearthstone Place in Elkton of natural causes. Services will be Friday April 7, 2017 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. David Blake officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbriar Schoolhouse Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Visitation will be on Thursday April 6, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home.
Mr. Dixon was born in Muhlenberg County December 30, 1919 the son of the late Colbie Dixon and Eula Mae Winn Dixon. He was retired from Trane Co and Farming. He was a member of the Collier Spring Victory Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his daughters Helen Harris Dixon in 1943 and Phyllis (Ted) Cannon in 2015 and, his sister Christine Dixon (Walker) Hurt in 2015.
He is survived by his daughter Patrona Dixon Dossett of Hopkinsville, KY 3 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
