Mrs. Magaline Sebree Osborne age 76 of Clarksville, TN and formerly of Elkton, KY passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at the Grace Healthcare of...
Mrs. Magaline Sebree Osborne age 76 of Clarksville, TN and formerly of Elkton, KY passed away Friday February 12, 2010 at the Grace Healthcare of Clarksville, TN. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, KY with Rev. Willie Holmes and Rev. Phillip Washington officiating. Burial will follow in the Elkton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Magaline was born July 16, 1933 in Todd Co., KY the daughter of the late Claude Warren Sebree and Johnnie Bell Foster Sebree. She was the former owner and cook of the Lady Hawks Restaurant in Elkton, KY. She was a member of the Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church in Elkton where she served on the Stewardess Board, Missionary Board, Choir Member and Kitchen Committee. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club and Adairville Senior Citizens. Mrs. Magaline was preceded in death by her husband, Frazier Osborne Sr. in 1980 and their daughter, Queen Victoria Osborne in 1960.
Survivors include four sons, Eric “Smoky” (Trica) Osborne of Elkton, Frazier “June” (Jacqueline) Osborne Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, Vernon “Big V” (Parita) Lee Osborne of Adairville, KY and Robert “Bob” Osborne of California; four daughters, Gloria “Avis” (Austin) Kendrick of Indianapolis, IN, Claudia “Dell” (Robert) A. Sargent, Jackie “Big J” (Donel) Osborne Rice and Fay “Herbie” I. Osborne all three of Clarksville, TN; three sisters, Anna Lois Sebree of Elkton, Georgia Mae (Eddie) Beeler of Indianapolis, IN and Barbara Jean (Cleveland) Gains of Hopkinsville; 21 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren.
